Caught on camera - wearing compression guards!

OK - so I now look a nerd! But if they're good enough for Chrissie Wellington, then they're good enough for me. I have to say they're great to wear and I think they work!
This is me on the 50 mile time trial - I took 2 hours, 10 minutes and 36 seconds. If only I'd not missed a turn on a roundabout....oh well! I felt dreadful after 48 miles so maybe the calf guards aren't that good!

...then don't!!
But if you decide to ignore that advice then the following may be of use:
- Use bottom cream and then some more!
- Make sure you drink all of your bottle of energy drink (not half!)
- When dying after you cross the finishing line try and unclip your feet from the pedals before joining the stack of fellow cyclists in the ditch
- Pack some big 'apple-catcher' style pants to wear post-race rather than a flossing g-string! (And that goes for you men out there as well!)
- Don't, post-race, toy with the idea of going for a sub 4:30 100 miler!
