Miracle worker Martin Paine makes open water swimming enjoyable! - 10-06-2010

I'm in slight shock...I think I actually really enjoyed an open water swim at Haysden Lake this Monday. This was totally due to Martin Paine who works for one of my sponsors TriSport Coaching UK

Last week we covered the basic open water swim skills, so this week there was no messing - a proper workout. Not sure Martin knew quite how different this was from what I normally do at the lake!! But lots of timed laps and some work on drills and of course for me, trying to swim in a straight line.

And proof of my enjoyment is below stood next to Martin - I'm even smiling!
